PPWR Review
Operating principles

Trust does not come from appearing official. It comes from showing control.

These principles govern what the product shows, what the team can do, and what remains blocked when data, powers, or approval are lacking.

Six operating rules

Each rule changes a product decision.

Fact before conclusion

If the entity, channel or product is not confirmed, we show the assumption and forward it for review.

Cost: refusing quick, baseless responses.

Source before statement

Deadlines, formats, fees, and obligations link to a source, version, date, and revision status.

Cost: revising content when the source changes.

Separate fees

Private service, external contributions, taxes and exceptions are different lines since the proposal.

Cost: do not hide margin in a regulatory fee.

Human authorization

Payment, signature, external submission, correction, and deletion require the right actor and approval.

Cost: not automating what needs judgment.

Minimal, isolated data

Each user only sees their case; Credentials do not enter messages or analytic events.

Cost: collect less convenient data.

Closed failure

Without identity, contract, real secrecy or approval, the action is unavailable and the reason is recorded.

Cost: accepting a slower rollout.

What we refuse
  • Invent a legal identity, a number, an approval or a testimony.
  • Promise the date of the APA, the issuance of a number or the acceptance of a marketplace.
  • Present a legislative proposal, working hypothesis or internal SLA as law.
  • Automatically submit to a third-party portal or send real messages during testing.
  • Using fear, maximum fines or environmental claims to sell an unnecessary service.
What can you demand
  • A written scope with assumptions, exclusions and dependencies.
  • The origin and version of the numbers used in an estimate.
  • A clear distinction between a prepared document and an externally issued document.
  • An audit trail for approval, status, correction and access.
  • A negative answer when the Portuguese route does not apply.
Environmental responsibility without varnish

Registration does not make a product sustainable.

EPR seeks to attribute end-of-life costs to those who place products on the market. Our role is to help an entity in scope get into a documented system, not to sell a claim of neutrality or guaranteed impact.

Contributions belong to the producer responsibility organisation’s contractual circuit. We keep values separate and retain contract, invoice, payment and data version as separate evidence.

Professionalism

A process is only fast if it remains verifiable.

01

Ask before guessing

Missing data creates a block or a question, never a fabricated value.

02

Freeze before submitting it

The approved version remains immutable; a correction creates a new revision and a reason.

03

Show the person responsible

Each material action contains actor, authorization, moment and result.

04

Stop safely

Suspension, debt or regulatory impossibility interrupt future acts without erasing the history.
